I am a fifty-one year old male, who never before had a problem getting a job before. But because of the 911 attacks in the U.S. (eventhough I was working at the time) Now I believe that  I am not getting positions that I am qualified for because of  the criminal background check ( In 1988 I was convicted of assult, time served). I went on the Internet and found a site that specializes in Expunging past criminal records however I cannot afford the fee they charge. I need to know how or is it possible for me to do it myself?
