My husband has a 8 yeard old from a previous relationship he pays his child support but when it was ordered he was in michigan and the hearing was done over the phone and visitation was not discussed. Now we have been in florida for almost 4 years and she has not allowed him to see his son. We have two sons ages 2 and 4 living with us and this is affecting them especially our 4 year old we dont have the resources to hire an attorney and needed help finding out if anybody has been in this situation that can tell us what forms we need to file a case. We tried last year to file for visitation where we were living but her attorney said that it had to be tranferred to the county where the child was born and we havent been able to do anything due to our lack of knowledge of the laws in this type of case.
