I live in indiana and I have a judgement recorded in the clerks office against my ex-husband. It is for support arrearage. He is in the process of selling his home. It has no mortgage and no other recorded judgements against it.. When a tiltle search etc is done during the sell will my judgement be recognized as a lein on it ? Will my judgement be satisfied from the sale?
I need to know if I need to do something specifically to pin that judgement to his personal property or if just the fact that it is recorded it will be enough. ???? Please help I only have 30 days left to get my ducks in a row. He is a dead beat dad, this is my only hope at ever getting whats coming to my kids.
Thanks,
