Company now refuse to pay "old" expense reports
In my case  - have about three months of expenses that fell behind reimbursemnet period  (beyond 45 days from date encurred expense)

Same  case with three other employers.

Company refusing to pay “per travel policy” which limits this period to 45 days.

Of course this policy is now being enforced because of corporate losses in  current economy – was not  enforced in past.  ALSO - all encurred on personal credit card - not company supplied/corporate card. (this may not  be case w/ others)

Was hoping you may have  a resolution re: Massachusetts labor Law ( company based in Minnesota – I’m a regional tech rep in MA.
salaried/full time  - six years w/company

Roykirk,

This posting does not sound like it belongs in the "Bankruptcy" category, as you mention nothing about a bankruptcy in your fact pattern.   This may belong in an employment or contract related category.  The following response therefore, assumes bankruptcy is not part of the equation.

Recovery of your expenses should not be a problem provided you can obtain proof that they have relaxed this policy in the past.

A lawyer can assist you in obtaining that proof if  you do not already have records of your own illustrating reimbursement after the 45-Day period.

One option available to an attorney in a pending case is to subpoena the keeper of records for the company to provide copies of all such reimbursment records.

You should consult with an attorney by visiting the True Lawyers Directory or

contact Law Office of Brian J. Wasser, Esq. at (508) 862-9999.  (That's me).

Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.
