Termination of an Employee

A employee gave me her two weeks notice.  Can I let her go early and suffer no extra pay to her.  She has vacation coming and I will pay that.  But I quess my real question is.  If an employee turns in her two notice can I let her go early and do I have to pay any wages except the vacation that she has coming?

Re: Termination of an Employee

Once an employee tends noticeof resignation you can let them go.  The two weeks are a courtesy to you but most employers do nto accpet the courtesy and let the employee go immediately.

Once someone decides to quit, the  quality of their work usually stops too.
