filing for reinforcement of contract?
Good morning- I hope i am asking a question in the right place. My situation is this. When my divorce became final in '98, (yes, "98) It was written into the contract that My ex wife would not be held to any time limit on payment of the sum she owes me and that she would negotiate a settlement with me as far as payments would be made. She has never agreed to anything and to this day after even sending her certified mail ( several of them) and asking her to honor her end of the contract I have received nothing. I cant beleive that even if I'd only recieved about 50 dollars a month from the beginning that I would'nt be here today asking you if there is some way, with the document itself stating the point in question is in existence, along with the fact that i have documented proof that she is unwilling to honor a legal document, if there is some way to reinforce the point and compel her to honor her end of the divorce contract?
