Injury – Accidents & Injuries
Modified By Mr. Smith on 4/16/2007 8:18:15 PM)
Last October I was attacked by a dog that was loose in the owner’s front yard. I suffered a loss of muscle and tissue to my lower leg after undergoing surgery. I never thought to pursue legal action until now that I have been affected by nerve damage. Is it too late to recover damages?

Re: Injury – Accidents & Injuries
Although Tennessee does not have a direct “dog bite” law, you still might be entitled monetary compensation under general negligence theories. Be advised to contact me as soon as possible, the statute of limitations under Tennessee law is one (1) year, Tennessee Statutes Title 28, Chapter 3, Sec. 28-3-104.
