Car accident

I was in a car accident on Saturday 7/7/07.  I am suffering neck pain and I was wondering what the average amount was that people normally settle for through an insurance agent?  I have been to several websites that range anywhere from 18,000 to 30,000.  Does this include repair/or replacing my car?

Re: Car accident

The last study published relating to Auto Accident Settlements show that on average a person represented by an attorney settled for 3 times the amount of people who are unrepresented.  Considering that most attorneys charge approximately 1/3 of the total settlement, you would effectively double your money by having representation.  Settlements very dramatically depending on the following factors: Property damage to your automobile, the extent of the injury suffered in the car accident (for example whiplash, an intervertibral disk bulge, an intervertibral disk herniation, a fractured bone, torn ligament, etc. all have different settlement value.)  It is essential that you have a doctor who understands Auto Accidents from an injury perspective and from a documentation perspective.  Finding the right doctor is not easy but that doctor will be the star witness in your case and determine the ultimate value of your case.  Usually the property damage is settled separate and apart from the injury portion of your automobile accident claim.  However commercial policies tend to lump the two together into a global settlement.

Your case has a statute of limitations after which you will no longer be able to bring your claim in a court of law.  True Lawyers, advises you to contact an injury attorney that practices accident and injury law and to confirm with your accident attorney that you are seeing the right doctor who will document your injury correctly.

True Lawyers will contact very soon to help you with your legal concerns.  Thank you.
