I am wanting to purchase a piece of land (31.06 acres) on a land contract from someone.  Is it better to go through an attorney for this?   I know that you can obtain the Land contract forms from many places on the internet, but what protects us more?  Also, I was told that if you go through an attorney, they can issue a deed for the property with the contract.   I really just need some direction with this.
